iCal link checker for Airbnb, Booking.com and Agoda
Paste your calendar (.ics) link: see whether it reads, how many upcoming bookings it holds, which nights it blocks, and the usual mistakes, before you paste it into another site.
The link is read once for this check and not stored.
How to use it
- Copy the export calendar link from Airbnb, Booking.com, Agoda or your software.
- Paste it and press Check. The tool reads it exactly as HostBooking’s sync does.
- Compare upcoming bookings and blocked nights over 90 days with your real calendar.
- The link is not stored. If it fails, the reason and the fix are shown below.
Frequently asked questions
What is an iCal link?
A link to an .ics calendar file that Airbnb, Booking.com, Agoda and others let you export. Other sites read it regularly to block the nights already booked.
Why does it say “not a calendar”?
Usually the link has expired or changed, or the site wants a sign-in and returns a web page instead of a calendar file. Export a fresh link.
Why do I still get double bookings with iCal?
Each site re-reads calendars on its own schedule, sometimes only every few hours. In between, two guests can book the same night. HostBooking reads OTA calendars every 5 minutes to narrow that gap.
Do you keep my link?
No. It is read once to show the result, never stored or shared.
